Ghana has over some few years grown at the speed of light with regards
to event organizing yet needs a bit of improvement. One setback
organizers face in the country is booking of artistes for shows unlike
other foreign countries where there exist recognized companies who are
into booking of artistes for shows. To bridge this gap and make the
industry rise to its deserving place, such a company is being stated in
Kumasi.
NY DJ Live is an emerging company whose sole aim is to book artistes,
both local and foreign for event organizers. The company made up of
established radio presenters and well connected media gurus, is set to
be launched somewhere in December, is in collaboration with Miami Vibes;
an booking agency in charge of top notch artistes like Beyonce, R
Kelly, Brick and Lace and a lot more for Africa.
NY DJ Live has already thrown out an invitation to all record labels and artiste managers to make available to the Company calendars of their artists through info@nydjlive.com and +233 249-908-580 to help them put them into their records for event organizers. NY DJ Live is set to be the “middleman” between event organizers and the artistes and their management.
Announcing the launch on Facebook, Ebenezer Nana Yaw Donkor aka NY DJ wrote:
“I am happy to announce that NY DJ Llive is a newly established artiste booking company in Ghana aimed at booking your favorite artistes both local and international for all your events be it parties, outdoor jams, pass through events and a lot more. It is the first of its kind in Ghana and in collaboration with Miami Vibes, its Official”.
In an interview with OMG!Ghana, The CEO Ebenezer Yaw Donkoh (NY DJ) said “ Event organizers find it difficult booking artistes for shows especially when the artiste in question is not in the same region with them. NY DJ Live is set to make acquiring the services of artistes not only easy but affordable than it is.”
The company is not only concerned with African artistes and events only but aims at booking a international artistes for local events too. NY DJ Live is set to outdoor its official website at the official launch of the company.
NY DJ is the youngest commercial radio presenter and host of the Kumasi’s urban drive time show Homestretch (Broadcaster) on Kapital Radio 97.1mHz from Mondays to Friday at 15:30GMT till 19:00GMT. He is also a blogger and entertainment critic which has made him a panelist on most of the entertainment reviews and discussion programs on radio in the Garden City.
