The players of the Entertainment Industry in Ghana has been down played and earn less recognition in the remaining Regions of the Country.
My view : I don't get it when every program hosted in the country's capital is termed 'GHANA'. : GHANA DJ'S AWARDS, GHANA MUSIC AWARDS, GHANA MUSIC VIDEOS AWARDS, etc, and the beneficiary or award winners of all these programs may be Accra residence or is from Accra.
whereas there are 10 regions in Ghana, where Organizers of such events can host it from, raise sponsors there and tag it 'GHANA'.
when the Government of Ghana disbursed money and noted a huge amount to the creative industry, I was thinking the old beard men of such field will think wise and ahead of the nation. Not just sharing the money and chopping them, but rather, investing it into an ultra-modern halls in all the ten regions. with this, national events of high esteem can be hosted across the country, devoid of, AUDITIONING THE NORTHERN SECTOR AND SOUTHERN SECTOR, COME AND MEET IN ACCRA, etc etc,.....

They sit in a small kind of wooden studio, and some kyokyopoa (twi: queered) area and DRINKING spot and they proclaim, Gh Celebrity bash (4syte). come to think of it, are they trying to say there no DJ'S AND CELEBRITY'S The other regions, or must you based in Accra and attend events of showcasing nudity before you are counted among celebrity?
I JUST WANT TO KNOW THEIR CRITERIA FOR SELECTING CELEBRITY BIRTHDAY BASH? and WHAT THEY MAKE OUT FROM THEIR ACCRA TV SHOW.
Lest they forget, TV3 does not reach all parts of the country, so they should revise and revisit their catchment areas.
EVENT ORGANIZERS :
Its high time you raise your thinking cups, and know other forms of getting money and pushing your events to.The Idea of staging shows and events in Accra and naming in it GH is very and totally wrong,
I remember when JZ,SEAN PAUL, ETC ETC ETC, CAME TO ACCRA TO PERFORM, AND YOU MADE IT SEEM ITS GHANA, THEY HAVE COME, Accra is just the Armpit of Ghana, so stop blushing that Accra is the Only Ghana we have,.
The shityy of them all is when there is Awards appraisal for the players in the big industry is going on, almost 95% goes to Accra Residence and 5% to Kumasi Resident 'popular people', forgotten the other regions .
LISTEN : better strategies and stop collecting money's from artiste before given them awards, if you are not ready to be real and tell the truth, Just go and join GHANA ELECTORAL COMMISSION AND ANY PROPAGANDA TEAM, cos you have totally fail...................example ORGANIZERS OF ACCRA DJ AWARDS.........................................BROADENING YOUR HORIZONS, AND BUY A LOT OF RADIO HANDSET AND LISTEN TO THE INTERNET STREAMING COS BETTER PEOPLE ARE DOING THE GOOD WORK ASIDE ACCRA!..................WORD :
