Multimedia Broadcasting Company family, owners of JOY FM, woke up
this morning with a heavy heart. They lost two of their colleagues.
First was the sad passing of Amos Ghanney who was with them on Easter
Sunday at their annual charity program, The Easter Soup Kitchen.
The death was reported also on Tuesday of Jamie Adjetey, who presents
the Multi-Track show which airs from 8pm to 10pm on weekdays on Joy FM.
He was the brother of Gaby Adjetey who also worked at Joy FM.
The Super Morning Show this morning was dominated by discussions of
the beautiful person the departed were. Tributes were paid by
colleagues, technical off air mates as well listeners who have come to
identify with the departed souls.
Some also took to social media on the radio stations page to write their tributes.
The cause of death is not an issue now as the two are being
remembered for what they contributed to this world in their short time
of stay on earth. Jamie was 48 and the son of the late Peter Ala Adjetey
who was one time Speaker of Parliament under the Kufour administration.
