According to the Ashanti Regional Police commander, DCOP Augustine Gyenin, the two Journalists Kojo Sibo, Metro FM and Elisha, Freedom FM attempted to bribe Police officials of the inter-ministerial taskforce in charge of the Chinese illegal mining activities in the Amansie West District with an amount of GHC 2,000.
The Journalists have denied the allegations leveled against them and have since been remanded in police custody since their arrest, Wednesday.
